On March 11th, the six month anniversary of Sept. 11th, a Tribute Concert was held at the Cornelia St. Cafe featuring songs and poetry written about, since and concerning the tragedy and how it affected the over 40 performers who were at the event. Songwriters from all over the country, including works by the FDNY, PDNY, PAPD and EMS participated. Actor/director Stephen Buscemi read a poem by Lou Reed and an article chronicling the evening was in the NY Times. (Click here for the link to the article.)
